Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website modernartjiujitsu.com and the services provided by Modern Art Jiu-Jitsu ("we," "us," or "our"), located at 8127 Mesa Drive, Austin, Texas. By accessing or using our website, submitting a form, or engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. Description of Services
Modern Art Jiu-Jitsu provides No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction for all ages at our academy in Austin, Texas. Our programs include Beginners No-Gi, All Levels No-Gi, and Kids No-Gi. We also offer free trial classes for new students.
2. Eligibility
Our website is intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you may only use this website with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Parents or legal guardians must submit enrollment information and provide consent on behalf of minors participating in our youth programs.
3. Free Trial Classes
We offer a free trial class to new students. The free trial is limited to one class per individual. Participation in a free trial class does not create an obligation to enroll or purchase a membership. All participants (or their parent/guardian for minors) may be required to sign a liability waiver before participating in any class.
4. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver
No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a contact sport that involves physical exertion and risk of injury. By participating in any class, training session, or event at Modern Art Jiu-Jitsu, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with martial arts training, including but not limited to sprains, strains, bruises, fractures, and other physical injuries.
All participants (or a parent/guardian on behalf of a minor) are required to sign a waiver and release of liability prior to participation. This waiver releases Modern Art Jiu-Jitsu, its instructors, staff, and affiliates from liability for injuries sustained during training, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
